August 11th, 1899 letter from George Scherff to Nikola Tesla

Dear Mr. Tesla:

The two clockworks have been expressed this afternoon. 

The continued improvement of the pump, Mr. Uhlman says, gives a correspondingly greater degree of steadiness in the light.

The work of the third independent break is on the castings, disk, brush-holders, switch and minor parts.

Besides the inclosed, the mail to-day contained a letter from Bombay, India, inquiring about the new light, which I have answered similarly as you directed me to reply to another letter from the same place, which I recently forwarded.
