Nikola Tesla, Esq.,
Colorado Springs, Colo.
Dear Mr. Tesla:
Your note of Aug. 7th, with checks for Mr. Unger, the Hammerschlag Mfg. Co., Edison Illuminating Company and for laboratory expenses, was received this morning. The small bills I shall pay in cash, as directed.
The work of the shop, Mr. Uhlman says, is on the castings, disk, brush-holders and switch of the third independent break and development of the pump. The speed of the second break is now up to 1900 revolutions per minute.
I inclose a statement of expenses for this week.
Permit me to inquire about your health. I hope that you may speedily recover from your cold.
Respectfully and sincerely,
Geo. Scherff
