Nikola Tesla Letters
June 13th, 1899 letter from George Scherff to Nikola Tesla

Dear Mr. Tesla:
Your three letters of June 10th, one containing sketches for tubes, one containing letter forwarded through Pearson's Magazine and one with checks were received this morning.
Mr. Uhlman tells me that all the men except Mr. Clark are working on the tubes and fibre stands therefor. He says everything will be ready for the glass-blower tomorrow early in the afternoon. Alfred went to find Mr. Wagner, but he has removed to Brooklyn. A messenger is now on his way there, and at the moment of writing I do not know whether he will be able to come and make the two tubes. If not, they will be sent to Mr. Greiner. Mr. Uhlman expects to have them ready and express them to-morrow evening.
Mr. Clark is working on the revolving shaft for the independent break. Mr. Uhlman says he himself is making sketches and re-designing the large break.
I have not been able to finish the German translation, that is to say, type it all, the translation is made.
Another box of writing paper was mailed this afternoon. There were several boxes and I am sorry to see that I sent the wrong one.
I have learned that Mr. J. J. A. has returned from Europe, but he has not called here.
Respectfully,
Geo. Scherff
