May 19th, 1899 letter from Nikola Tesla to George Scherff #2

Colorado Springs, May 19, 1899

Dear Mr. Scherff,

Following items have occured to me since writing. Large relay to be mounted in box.

Large resistance to be finished.

Balloon varnishing pushed forward (I have little hope from the balloons as it is very windy here).

Small relay (the one we used on the boat before) should be mounted on small plate of ebonite with four terminals, two for each leg of the magnet.

Two drums for winding up wire for balloons, also aluminum wire and steel wire (Mr. Loewenstein will calculate this).

The two large self induction coils in sections, which were on the large old condenser box, should be mounted on a board and ________ ________ of the length of the coils. Two bundles of wire should be prepared, one for each to regulate.
