September 14th, 1899 letter from George Scherff to Nikola Tesla

Dear Mr. Tesla:

The work of the shop is on the condensers and the fourth independent break. The first test, Mr. Uhlman says, gives the speed of the third break at 1900 revolutions per minute.

A notice was received to-day from the Elektrotechnische Verein in Wien, that the yearly dues are payable. I have sent the amount, three dollars, by postal money order.
