T J Room 91. In the matter of the application of Nikola Tesla, Serial No. 725,749, filed August 1, 1399, Methods of Utilizing Effects Transmitted through the Natural Media, Renewed Application. Hon. Commissioner of Patents, Sir:- May 25, 1901, New York. In the matter of the application above named we hereby amend as follows: Cancel claim 2 and insert as follows: "2. The method hereinbefore described of utilizing effects or disturbances transmitted from a distant source, which consists in charging the storage device with electrical energy from an independent source, controlling the charging of said device by the action of the effects or dizturbances, and coincidently using the stored electrical energy for operating the receiving device." In claim 13, lines 2 and 3, cancel the words "through the natural media.": In claim 14, lines. 2 and 3, cancel the words "through the natural media"... In line 6 of claim 14, according to our office copy, the words "adapted to be stored with electrical energy" occur. If this is the reading in the original claim, please amend by cancelling the word "stored" and substitute therefor the word "charged". The object of this amendment is to make the claims af-1453
