Applicant's attention is directed to the fact that he has used the term "synohronize" throughout his specification where he probably intended to use the word syntonize. The modified system described by the applicent at the top of page 8 of the specification, where different phase relations of the impulses are used to render the system more selective, is not understood. He states that the primary circuits each. have a definite period of their own and differ from each other and it is not seen therefore how a dephaning of the first impulses of a series would have any offent at the receiver, inasmuch as for a moment of time the impulses of the several series overlap cach other in phase and it seems that their effect upon the receiver has nothing whatever to do with the relative phases of the first impulses of a series. 573
