Serial No 12,34 Letter of Renewal To the Commissioner of Patents: Your petitioner, Nikola Tesla, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, County and State of New York, whose post office address is Wardenclyffe, Long Island, New York, represents that on May 16, 1900, he filed an application for letters patent for an improvement in the Art of Transmitting Electrical Energy, serial number 16,889, which application was allowed July 6, 1900, but that he failed to make payment of the final fee within the time allowed by law. He now makes renewed application for letters patent for said invention, and prays that the original specification, oath, drawings, and model may be used as a part of this application.
