1 Million-Volt Tesla Coil & Cage of Death at 2012 CES

I.T. company ioSafe set up the ultimate test for their new Thunderbolt portable hard disk with help from Austin Richards (aka Dr. Megavolt) and his one million-volt Tesla coil. Austin, wearing a suit eerily similar to Terry Blake's Dr. Zeus suit, holds the drive while it takes direct hits from the coil. Spectators look on in excitement from a Faraday cage near the coil. Austin also performs wood burning and other demonstrations with the coil.
