Tesla Says Wireless Waves Pass Through the Earth, Not the Air.
The forthcoming issue of The Electrical Experimenter will contain an article by Nikola Tesla, Inventor, in which he takes issue with the generally accepted theories of the moon's axial rotation, the pointed lightning rod, and the passage of wireless messages through the air.
Dr. Tesla says that "the moon does rotate, not on its own, but about an axis passing through the centre of the earth, the true and only one." He says that wireless messages pass directly through the earth itself, instead of following the earth's curvature through the air, between stations of any great distance apart. He believes that some day there will be a great station that will keep the earth charged with just enough electricity to make wireless sending very simple. Disagreeing with Franklin that the pointed lightning rod makes surrounding air attractive to heavenly bolts, Dr. Tesla says that he has invented a rod with rounded surface which repels lightning.
