Inventor's Long Island Station for Wireless Telegraphy Nearing Completion.

WARDENCLYFFE, L. I., Feb. 7. — Work is being pushed on the plant here for Tesla. The power house, built of pressed brick and 100 feet square, is completed, and the big tower is under course of construction. The tower will be 100 feet in diameter at the base and 216 feet high. It will be 80 feet wide at the top. The materials used are wood and iron. Inside the tower will be a well 120 feet deep, with a staircase leading down into it. Transversely across the bottom of the well will be a series of four tunnels, each 100 feet long. These are being excavated now. The electrical equipment is nearly finished, and Mr. Tesla, it is stated, expects to be ready to begin experiments in wireless telegraphy in the early spring.
