[Sec. 8., cont.] DID TESLA TRANSMIT SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF POWER AT COLORADO SPRINGS? Enormous lateral ground currents were achieved by Tesla at Colorado Springs that have not been achieved since that time. These were produced at frequencies ranging from 50 kHz to 150 kHz. However, no evidence has been found where Tesla stated explicitly that he conducted an experiment transmitting a significant amount of power for an appreciable distance. REGARDLESS OF ABOVE, WILL TESLA'S CONCEPT WORK WITH TODAY'S UNDERSTANDING OF THE ELECTRO-PHYSICS PHENOMENA INVOLVED? Until a Magnifying Transmitter coil is fully reconstructed duplicating the local effects achieved by Tesla at the turn of the century, we may not be able to answer the question, with confidence, whether wireless power transmission was a global or only a local effect, because of the difficulties in applying theoretical analysis to a puzzle with so many missing pieces. Tesla's concept did not embrace what we now understand as Schumann resonances. He has written and been quoted in various sources as employing frequencies in the kilohertz range for wireless power transmission purposes--orders of magnitude greater than Schumann resonance frequencies. This writer sees enormous problems in dealing with currents of such low frequencies as represented by the Schumann resonance mode frequencies in power systems. oOo - 19 -
