896 S. PATE REPORT OF FRITZ LOWENSTEIN ON CERTAIN APPARATUS INVENTED AND DESIGNED BY NIKOLA TESLA FOR THE PROPULSION OF FLUID AND THE CONVERSION OF ENERGY BY FLUID PROPULSION. I, the undersigned, Fritz Lowenstein, am a mechanical and electrical engineer, thirty seven years of age, residing at 231 West 141st St., New York, N.Y. My office address is 115 Nassau St., where I conduct a consulting engineering business, in which I have been engaged since 1903. I am a graduate of the mechanical and electrical faculty of the Polytechnic School of Vienna, Austria, 1897, and have had varied experience in mechanical and electrical work in Austria, Germany, France and the United States. Hore particularly, I held the position of Chief Draughtsman with Ritchell & Company, Vienna, and was thereafter engaged by the German Thomson-Houston Company, Union El.Ges.) in Munich, in 1889 by Nikola Tesla in New York and Colorado. Subsequently I served as engineer for the Parville Freres, Paris, France, and afterwards was engaged by the German Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Co., with an establishment in Frankfurt a/Main. In 1902 I re-entered the employ of Mr. Tesla and assisted him in his work on high frequency oscillations and on steam engines, in New York and Long Island. Since 1903 I have followed the profession of a consulting engineer. I have devoted a great deal of time, both as a student and practicioner, to thermo dynamic questions, and believe that I an fully capable of independent and valuable judgment on questions, relating to steam andd fluid propulsion generally. 31 then
