Progress by Dr. Morton, Nikola Tesla and Other Investigators.

Dr. William James Morton, of No. 19 East Twenty-eighth street, is pursuing his X-ray investigations without the use of Crookes tubes. The results of his efforts will be shown Thursday evening in the lecture hall of Columbia College. Nikola Tesla will make known the latest products of his research into the realms of indeterminate light Wednesday or Thursday.

Dr. J. Mount Bleyer, of No. 460 Lexington avenue, is trying to solve the problem of the comparative effects of sunlight and the X rays on bacteria. He expects to soon complete his experiments.

The experiments of the Health Board are in embryo. It will take two or three days at least to perfect the culture of diphtheretic germs which it is proposed to submit to the action of the X rays.
