Touched a Heavily Charged Wire While Engaged in Experiments.
Nikola Tesla, whose interesting experiments with a fluorescent screen, as showing the action of a man's heart, were described in the Sunday HERALD, has one hand swathed in bandages these days.
This is the result of an accident while conducting his experiments in his laboratory. He was deeply interested in his work, and perhaps became somewhat careless. At any rate, his hand touched, a wire charged with. a large amount of electric fluid. It was only for an instant. but that was long enough for the flesh of the fingers to be badly seared, while the ends, around the nails, were seriously burned.
While painful, the wounds were not dangerous and he will be all right in a few days.
