The Race to Secure Transatlantic Wireless Telegraphy

Since Marconi succeeded in sending a wireless telegraphic signal across the ocean. Nikola Tesla seems to have formed the praiseworthy resolution of saying nothing as to his own accomplishments and hopes. The public has expressed the belief that Mr. Tesla indulged too much in talking of what he proposed to do, and it is most gratifying to note that he has reformed. But some of his friends are talking for him, and are predicting that Tesla will beat Marconi in the race to secure a really practicable installation of transatlantic wireless telegraphy. It is an interesting contest, but with the general public Marconi is a red-hot favorite.
