Funeral services for Nikola Tesla, Yugoslav-American Scientist, will be conducted late today at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. He died last Thursday at the Hotel New Yorker at the age of 86 years.
Bishop William T. Manning will offer the opening sentences of the burial office and the final prayer and blessing, assisted by Father Edward West, sacrist of the cathedral. The Serbian orthodox office for the dead will be said by the Very Rev. Dushan Shoukletovich, rector of the SerbOrthodox Church of St. Sava, and a eulogy will be delivered by Dr. Ivan Subasich, governor of Croatia, in the Serbo-Croatian language.
Vice-President Wallace sent a message on behalf of President Roosevelt and a representative of the British Government will be at the funeral. Among the floral offerings was a wreath from King Peter II of Yugoslavia.
