NEW YORK, March 11. — As an appropriate celebration of its 30th anniversary "The Electrical World and Engineer" has issued an exceptionally large number, filled with reminiscences. Several of the articles were contributed by men of note. One of them came from Mr. Tesla, who described afresh his experiments of 1899, made in Colorado, with a view to the transmission of power without wires.
He says that the Canadian Niagara Power Company has invited him to try the system on an industrial scale. He has been designing a plant for that corporation which is meant to transmit 10,000 horsepower at a pressure of 1,000,000 volts, "which," Mr. Tesla adds, "I am able to produce and handle with safety."
