Article 7

For the organization of the celebrations of Nikola Tesla Year the Committee shall adopt a programme of action and activities and carry out other tasks in connection with the celebrations of Nikola Tesla Year.

The celebrations of Nikola Tesla Year and other tasks according to the programme of action and activities as in para 1 of this Article shall be organized by the Organizational Committee of the Yugoslav Academy of Science and Arts in Zagreb, the Council ol Academies of Science and Arts of Yugoslavia, and the Community of Yugoslav Universities and Institutions of Higher Education for the celebration of Nikola Tesla Year.

Article 10

The Committee shall cease operating when it submits to the Yugoslav Assembly a report on its work which it must submit at the latest by 31 March, 1977.

The Public Information Media

The press, radio and television have taken on the task to popularize Tesla’s jubilee by publishing contributions on Tesla’s life and work. Continued throughout 1976, this action should help to shed more light on Tesla’s life and work through the publication of less known or still completely unknown details about Tesla. In this manner Tesla’s achievements will become the possession of the widest sections of the people.

It is especially important that Tesla’s personality and work should be presented by newspapers and magazines intended for pupils and educational workers, and by the educational programmes on radio and television because education is one of the most effective ways for a lasting popularization of the great scientist’s personality.

Organization of Permanent and Temporary Exhibitions on the Life and Legacy of Nikola Tesla

Permanent exhibitions shall be set up in scientific and socio-cultural institutions and in economic organizations which bear the name of Nikola Tesla. Mobile exhibitions on Tesla’s life and work shall be organized in major centres of the country.
