550 O.K. O.K. ok. The apparatus described in applicant's patents mentioned on page 2 of the official letter may or may not produce stationary waves. The conditions necessary for the production of such phenomena are not disclosed in the patents themselves, but are fully explained in the present application. The British patent of record illustrates arrangements similar to some described in applicant's earlier British patents, but contemplates the production of Hertzian or electromagnetic waves, and with such waves, as explained by applicant on page 7, paragraph 2, the phenomena herein described would be impossible.
