Owing to three-phase power supply and to synchronous rotating spark gaps, our three-phase Tesla coil gives uniform output voltage in each operational pulse. A further investigation for improvements of 3PTC is in progress.

It is probably possible to use other phases instead of three-phase power supplies for Tesla coils. Also, a new semiconductor technology could be used instead of rotating spark gaps.
