Nikola Tesla Illustrates His Testimony in Wireless Suit.
Stereopticon slides were used yesterday by Nikola Tesla, the wireless inventor, to illustrate his testimony before Federal Judge Mayer at the trial of the wireless infringement suit brought by the receivers of the National Electric Signalling Company against the Atlantic Communication Company, which operates the Sayville station.
The court room was darkened and a screen was rigged up. Tesla was called as a witness by the defendant company. His testimony was intended to offset the plaintiffs claim to priority in the patents which it contends were infringed by the Atlantic Communication Company. Tesla testified his invention dates back to 1911. The trial will go on today.
