HILLSIDE, N. J., June 12 — Thomas Clarke Brady, an electrical engineer who at one time was an associate of Nikola Tesla, noted inventor, died this morning in the Alexian Brothers Hospital, Elizabeth, after a short illness, at the age of 84. He had retired more than twenty years ago. He was born in Ireland and came to the United States as a young man, living in Rahway for many years.

Surviving are two daughters, Miss Edna M. Brady and Mrs. John McCoy, with whom he made his home here; a son, J. Russell Brady of Elizabeth, and two sisters, Mrs. E. M. Sellors of Fort Worth, Texas, and Mrs. Evelyn Craig of Dublin, Iowa.
