Nikola Tesla Corner

Nikola Tesla has his own corner in New York City at the intersection of Avenue of the Americas (6th Avenue) and West 40th Street in Midtown Manhattan. This is where Tesla spent many years feeding pigeons at Bryant Park on his regular route from the New Yorker Hotel to the New York Public Library at the opposite end of the block.

The corner was dedicated to Tesla in 1994 by Community Board 5, sponsored by the Croatian New Yorker Club.
