Radio Wave Building Plaque
1977
The former Gerlach Hotel, at 49 W 27th St. (between Broadway and Sixth Ave.), where Tesla lived and where before the end of the century he conducted the radio wave experiments, was renamed The Radio Wave building. A commemorative plaque was placed on the building to honor his work.
